We invite you to a virtual tour of the orthodox church, and in the future to visit it in person.
Introduction
A short distance from the church of St. Anthony Pechersky and St. Paraskeva in Hola, built in the early 18th century, is an Orthodox cemetery. The necropolis was founded at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Several wooden tomb crosses, a large number of tombstones from the 2nd half of the 19th and 1st half of the 20th century have been preserved on its territory.
History
In the old, southern part of the cemetery stands the ancient chapel of the Covering Veil of the Theotokos, which was erected in the years 1846 – 1847. As a material for its construction was used wood from the renovated large parish church.
In 1966, the cemetery church in Hall was listed on the register of architectural monuments.
Architecture
It is a wooden building of log structure, closed on three sides. In front of the entrance there is a tent on four columns, with a triangular top. The single-ed roof of the chapel is covered with shingles. It`s crowned of bulbous dome with an Orthodox cross.
Decorative towels
For now, before reconcecration of the church, decorative towels are presented in its interior. This is an interesting local tradition of Podlasie – for centuries the Orthodox decorated them with crosses and icons,
both in their spiritual nests, and in their homes.

In the coming years it is planned to restore its ancient interior.
